In 1969 Robert Redford played the leading roles of the Sundance Kid in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Ritchie in Downhill Racer. That same year he combined both personas off camera in his own version of Sundance.

PARK CITY — For a third year in a row, Deer Valley Resort has been named the No 1. ski resort in North America by SKI Magazine, a leading magazine devoted to the sport of Skiing.

Readers of SKI magazine voted Deer Valley tops overall out of 60 ski resorts. The Park City resort also won individual categories for grooming, mountain service, dining and lodging.

Utah is the home of 13 ski resorts. And as the above map shows 11 of these ski resorts are convienently located with an hours drive from Salt Lake City. No other major city in America offers so many ski resorts within such a close proximity.
