The Capitol Theatre, home of Ballet West, Utah Opera and the Broadway Across America series is an architectural gem that seats almost 1,900 theatre goers. Built between 1900 and 1910, the Capitol Theatre is one of the older buildings downtown. The inside has been re-done in a way that has tastefully modernized it and left its historic authenticity intact.

Ballet West ranks among the top professional ballet companies in America. Ballet West has 37 company members, 10 second company members, and a thriving academy that trains dancers of all ages, many of whom have gone on to professional careers with Ballet West and companies around the world.
