The Salt Palace Convention Center is an architectural wonder. The trusses which support the roof were designed by one of the world’s foremost roller-coaster designers, Kent Seko.
Many of the convention center’s most striking visual features were obtained through the creative use of HSS (Hollow Structural Steel) in exposed applications
Salt Palace Convention Center is in a select category of convention facilities that can offer to its clients over a half million square feet of contiguous exhibit space!
This massive meeting facility spans a huge downtown city block and continues to expand with new construction. The convention center’s 256,000 square feet of exhibition space boasts flexible walls that can create from one to six halls.
The main ballroom encompasses 36,000 square feet, enough room to park 300 trucks, while 54 meeting rooms offer space for any size of crowd. The facility also boasts miles of fiber-optic cable enabling high-tech communications and satellite uplinks.
