ragingwatersslc2ragingwatersslc1Located in Salt Lake City, Raging Waters is a 17-acre waterpark with water slides and a half-million gallon wave pool. Raging Waters has an exciting water roller coaster called Waimea Wave – H2O Rollercoaster. There are also speed slides like Blue Thunder where you ascend hills in a double tube or White Lightning twin body slides.

ragingwatersslc4ragingwatersslc7Every summer, people flock here to sunbathe, float in the wave pool, race down the Acapulco Cliff Dive slide and check out all the other people running around in swimsuits. In addition to the wave pool, the many slides and a huge kiddie pool with all sorts of diversions, there are often performances–everything from singing groups to skateboarders. If you want to shell out the usual inflated concession-stand sums, you’ll even eat well. Munch on pizza, slushy drinks, nachos and other summertime treats.

ragingwatersslc6Raging Waters can host parties of all types, including birthday parties, family reunions, picnics, corporate events, etc. For party reservations, call 801.972.3300 and ask for the group sales director.

Season passes are available; $69.95 plus tax for an individual or $259.95 plus tax for a family of four. The water park also offers season locker rentals and season tube rentals.
